The portability of the Standard ‘Companion’ cabinet may not be an issue for those lucky enough to have a permanent fly tying station, but storage usually is. If so, a Desk ‘Companion’ can provide the answer.
  • Desk ‘Companions’ are 15" wide and 8" from front to back. Height, commencing at 14" for the 5-drawer unit (pictured) increases by approximately 3" per additional drawer. Five or six drawers are ideal for a desk-top. Any more and it really becomes a floor standing fitment.
     
  • Drawers are approx. 2 1/8" deep and fitted with brass knobs and card holders. They can be fitted with removable dividers if required.
     
  • If you do not wish to consign your tools and threads to a drawer and prefer them on view and immediately to hand, a removable tool-caddy is available as an optional extra. It can be placed on top of the Desk ‘Companion’ and includes a top tier for bobbin holders and other tools and a lower tier with a recess for a varnish bottle and pegs to retain reels of threads and wires.
